Hi! I am the founder and owner of Magical Snow Treks, which started in 2015. I have worked in the outdoors for over 30 years and am an International Mountain Leader, British Qualified Teacher of Sport & Health Education and a Forest Bathing ‘Shinrin Yoku’ Guide. I am happy working with any age group and like to combine my love of journeying in winter and summer with my love of nature.
My family and I moved from North Wales to Gréolières in the Southern Alps in 2005, to ’GO GREEN’ and build an off-the-grid life. We are deeply passionate about adventure, education, nature therapy and sustainability and this year see the fruition of all of our work, with the opening up of our Home as a Nature Retreat (www.maisondelasource.fr ). We look forward to seeing you there in the future for some adventures in the sun together.
Neil Game
Neil has been walking and talking about nature for the last 24 years. He is passionate about what he does and his work is infused with humour, knowledge and high safety standards.
Originally from London, he is qualified in all areas of mountain pursuits; an International Mountain Leader, Winter ML, Trail running guide and Mountain Instructor (Rock Climbing). He runs CPD events for the British Association of International Mountain Leaders and is also a course director for the Mountain leader award. He is also an avid mountain bike and an aspirant guide for the association of British mountain bike guides.
Alongside his competency in technical mountain skills, he is also a Forest Bathing – ‘Shinrin Yoku’ practitioner.
Barbara De Moubray
Barbara de Moubray is known to us as Doctor Bla! She is a qualified Sports Masseur, a Reiki Master level 3, a certified Aromatouch doTERRA Wellness Advocate and a practitioner of MAT- Metaphysical Anatomy Technique. She is able to support women through the period of Menopause with her UNIQUELY YOU service, and is working with us on the Menopause Retreat.
Barbara is based in Seytroux, the Morzine valley, FRANCE, throughout the year.
